The Mexican Shack was establised in 1975 as a "roadside stand" at the intersection of route 35 & route 100 in Somers, N.Y. The original "Shack" was a 600 square foot store selling imported productions from Mexico and the Southwest and was a leading provider of Native American Indian Jewelry and Crafts to the Tri-State area.
